Agreement
By downloading or using BookBinge you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. BookBinge is made by Razvan Popa. Contact: bookbinge.app@gmail.com.
The service
BookBinge lists book series in reading order, tracks your progress, and writes spoiler-free recaps of books you've marked finished. It is for personal, non-commercial use.
BookBinge Pro subscriptions
- BookBinge is free to use with limits. BookBinge Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, weekly or yearly. The price and period are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a plan includes a free trial, the subscription starts and is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If Pro ends, your data is kept. Series beyond the free limit are paused, never deleted, and you can resume them later.
Recaps and reading information
Recaps are generated by artificial intelligence from the titles of books you've marked finished. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not a substitute for the books. Reading orders, release dates and series details are compiled carefully from public sources, but we can't guarantee they are complete or current.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or its services, including trying to access the recap service outside the app, overload it, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows.
Ownership
The app, its design and artwork belong to BookBinge. Book titles, covers and descriptions belong to their authors and publishers and are used to identify the books.
Disclaimer and liability
BookBinge is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for BookBinge Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll change the date at the top, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
